When you are in high school, it seems like the only two things that matter are getting by and getting into college. There are those extracurricular activities though that everyone loves. While some play sports, some are on the dance team. Many are mathletes, while others are in the marching band. There are a selected few though who go above and beyond the calling of most standard high school kids who decide to do something a little extra and run for that coveted position that not only takes you up in the high school rankings but looks stellar on a college resume—student body president.

If you are considering running for student body president, you can’t just stand by and do nothing to get that position—you must work your butt off to do so by campaigning to your entire school. In order to get that vote, you have to get your name out. Does your mom or dad have a laser printer that they’d love to share with you? If so, you can use the printer to make your dreams of student class domination a reality.

What will you need to make with the laser printer? You probably are going to need a good mix of things—posters, banners, business cards, flyers and signup sheets. Not all printers come with the ability to make these things—especially the banners and posters—so make sure your printer has all the ability to make those things before you get your heart set on anything.

Make sure on the posters, banners and flyers alike you put some sort of campaign slogan. This will give onlookers something to remember you by. You are also going to want to put some of the things you’d like to change on them. Pass out the business cards to all of your friends and peers at school. You will probably get a lot of votes!
